He practically neglected Ashpaw, despite Ashpaw being his own apprentice! 2nd, he is related to Ferncloud! And when I say related, I don’t mean Half-uncle or Half-brother. No! Dustpelt is Ferncloud’s UNCLE! WebFirepaw and Spottedleaf's relationship retroactively counts. Aging in the first arc is wonky but Firepaw was 6-7 months when he joined the Clan. Spottedleaf was a seasoned medicine cat. Future books reveal that she's around 4 years old when she died, old enough to be Firepaw's grandmother.
