WebAug 20, 2024 · The last one of those engines I did here ended up at 10.4 to 1 compression and we found the Crower 60916 wasn't quite enough cam for it. It ran fine but we had to take a little more timing out of it than most to run pump gas, but still good end result but it could have been better. WebMay 24, 2012 · I recommend you run something like a Crower 60916 camshaft and lifters with this combo. Either intake manifold and carb will work for you combo. The poly locks are a good idea to use on the valve train. Mellling M54DS is a good oil pump for your setup. It is one notch up from the Crower 60916 in my opinion and has a definate lope to it and would work great with your 2800 stall.
